UNILEVER: Vaseline Women’s Cricket Team Interactive LED and Photo Booth

Bangladesh is a country where cricket is a craze. But by saying cricket, people only mean the Men’s Cricket Team. People actually don’t know the fact that there is a women’s cricket team and Bangladesh women’s cricket team has been making the country proud lately. Vaseline, a leading brand of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, being the official sponsor of Bangladesh Women’s Cricket Team wanted to let people know about the team and their success and create hype about it right when they needed the support, during the Women’s Cricket World Cup. To do something out of the box, we introduced an interactive LED wall in Bashundhara City where the key players from the women’s team stood virtually and interacted with anyone who passed in front of it. It detected people and even followed them interactively to point towards an Augmented Reality photo booth where someone can take picture standing with the women’s cricket team. Direct social media engagement was done through QR code integration and posts from visitors flooded the social media. Through this campaign the brand achieved top of mind awareness by promoting our tigresses and their contributions and getting the brand to everyone through them.
